The drugs are among more than 400 cancer drugs that are in the pipeline across North America, according to the report from the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
The report reveals that there are 13 drugs that are being researched as treatments for liver cancer. These include thalidomide.
26 drugs are in the pipeline for treatment of pancreatic cancer. Many of these are also being tested as treatments for colon cancer.
And there are 14 drugs in the pipeline for gastric cancer, including Taxol and Taxotere.

The survey shows that 14 of the colon cancer drugs are in Phase I of development and 10 are in Phase III of development.
PhRMA President Alan Holmer said: "Thanks in large part to medicines developed in the past decade, cancer deaths are on the decline.
"But cancer is still the second leading cause of American deaths by disease. The 402 medicines in the pipeline for cancer offer tangible hope of stemming this terrible toll, and, one day, winning the war against cancer."
