Unilateral vs bilateral drainage for hilar obstructionA 74-year-old female presented with painless jaundice. ERCP showed a hilar stricture but stent insertion was not sucessful. Patient referred for stenting 24 hours after the initial study. She had a low grade fever and leukocytosis suggestive of cholangitis and urgent ERCP was performed.
