Serous cystadenoma of the pancreas.Serous cystadenoma of the pancreas. A 79 year old woman who presented to her general practitioner with a cough. A CT scan was performed, which showed a large intra-thoracic stomach. Acid spill-over may have been the cause of the cough. As an incidental finding, the scan also revealed a 3.5 cm multilocular lesion in the pancreas located at the junction of the head and body. The lesion has internal septations and has the appearances of a serous cystadenoma of the pancreas. It was left alone.
