Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS): duodenal withdrawal (1).
An examination beginning within the third part of the duodenum (Fig. 6.14) with the endoscope tip in a near horizontal position should demonstrate the origin of the superior mesenteric artery from the aorta, and related structures (Fig. 6.15).
