Duodenal submucosal polyp.Submucosal polyps giving this type of appearance are seen not uncommonly in the gastrointestinal tract. Note the typical duodenal bridging folds. The appearance is nonspecific; differential diagnosis includes lipoma, fibroma, neurogenic tumours and gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GISTs). Pathological material is essential for confirmation of diagnosis.
