Leiomyoma of the stomach.
This contrast study shows a polypoidal tumor in the fundus of the
stomach. A small blob of barium can be seen in an ulcer at the apex of the tumor. This is the classical appearance of a leiomyoma of the
stomach. The operative view shows the portion of the stomach containing the tumor has been grasped between the surgeon's fingers and lifted anteriorly.
