Stomal ulcer. A 57-year-old man with a short history of vomiting and loss of weight. An endoscopy showed a stenosing lesion in the body of the stomach. The operative photograph" showed the lesion (between the arrows). The patient underwent a subtotal gastrectomy.
Twelve months later the patient presented with abdominal pain. The
endoscopic photograph shows an ulcer immediately beyond the stoma.
