Carcinoma of the stomach.Twelve months after a gastric resection for malignant gastric outlet
obstruction, this 86-year old man presented with incomplete intestinal
obstruction. The contrast study showed a stenotic segment at the
recto-sigmoid junction. This lesion is obstructing about 80% of the
lumen. This is a secondary deposit from the original gastric cancer.
The patient underwent a defunctioning ileostomy.
