Leiomyoma of esophagus.A 60-year-old man who presented with a five-month history of
dyspahgia. The contrast study shows a filling defect in the
mid-esophagus, with barium spilling round the lesion, which is
protruding into the lumen. The CT scan shows that most of the lumen is occupied by the lesion. He underwent thoracotomy and submucosal resection of the leiomyoma.
