Acute pancreatitis and pseudocyst.A 63-year old woman admitted with gallstone-related pancreatitis.
Developed a pseudocyst which did not settle with conservative
managment. Underwent open cyst gastrostomy. The operative views show initial localisation of the pseudocyst. The stomach has been opened and a needle placed in the pseudocyst. Clear fluid drained. The cyst was then formally opened and a cystgastrostomy formed.
