Lymphocytic gastritis has a typical endoscopic appearance consisting of nodules, erosions and large folds predominating in the gastric body. The histopathological appearances are characterized by an accumulation of small lymphocytes in the surface and foveolar epitheliu, counts showing more than 25 per 100 epithelial cells.
