A photograph of a pathological specimen of Jejunal diverticula.
Classically they occur along the mesenteric border - in contradistinction to Meckel's diverticulum. These jejunal diverticula occur often in elderly patients. They are usually asymptomatic and may be found during the course of a contrast study or at abdominal surgery.
