Carcinoma-in-situ in Barrett's esophagus.
This patient underwent an esophagectomy. The area of columnar-lined epithelium extends up two-thirds of the length of the esophagus. The paler squamous epithelium can be seen to the right of the photograph, with part of the proximal stomach to the left.
