Soft-tissue emphysema in the neck associated with perforation of the thoracic oesophagus.
Spontaneous thoracic oesophageal perforation resulted in massive thoracic soft-tissue emphysema and a tension pneumothorax. The soft-tissue emphysema is seen to extend into the soft tissues of the neck.
