Adenocarcinoma of rectum.
The patient complained of diarrhoea, blood per rectum and increasing
incontinence for 18 months. This tumor was found to be an adenocarcinoma of the rectum, which had spread down through the anal canal and on to the perineum. He was treated by
radiotherapy followed by resection.
