A 52-year-old female presented with abdominal pain, vomiting, and weight
loss. Endoscopy revealed carcinomatous infiltration of the proximal 70% of
the stomach, which was confirmed on histology. CT scanning confirmed diffuse
thickening of the gastric wall. The lesion was considered inoperable. She
died 2 months later despite chemotherapy.
