Cholangiocarcinoma - Type II hilar tumor with double metal stenting.
fiogf49gjkf0d A 78-year-old man presented with abdominal pain and obstructive jaundice. At ERCP a tight stricture was seen involving the hilum and the distal portions of the right and left hepatic ducts (Bismuth type II) (top left). Guidewires were placed in the left and right hepatic systems (top center) and the stricture was brushed and biopsies were taken (top right). A 10mm diameter 68mm length expandable metal stent was placed into the right hepatic tree and deployed (bottom left). A further 10mm diameter 42 mm length expandable stent was placed into the left system (bottom right).
