Cystic stump leak secondary to retained common bile duct stone.
A 53-year-old female developed biliary peritonitis 2 days after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. ERCP confirmed leakage form the cystic duct stump into the gall bladder bed. The common bile duct is dilated and the faint image of a retained stone can be seen in the distal part. Following sphincterotomy and balloon extraction of the stone the patient recovered.
