Meckel's diverticulum.This was an incidental finding on a post-evacuation barium-enema film. The diverticulum (arrow) represents a persistent remnant of the vitellointestinal duct and it occurs in 2-3% of the population, almost always on the antimesenteric border of the ileum within 2m of the ileocaecal valve.
