Two benign gastric ulcers.
A 73-year old female complained of epigastric pain, but no weight loss. She was not taking NSAID therapy. Endoscopy revealed two gastric ulcers. An ulcer crater is visible just proximal to the incisura and another superficial lesion in the two o'clock position. Biopsies revealed no evidence of malignancy but did show H. pylori colonization. After a course of eradication therapy and two months of lansoprazole, the ulcers had healed on check endoscopy.
