Meckel's diverticulum causing intussusception.
A 34-year-old man had a 10-month history of chronic abdominal pain. His symptoms were worse in the last two months, with stomach rumbling and pain after meals. He was initially treated for the irritable bowel syndrome. Barium follow-through showed an intussusception - at operation a Meckel's diverticulum was found to have intussuscepted into the mid-ileum.
