Huge pedunculated adenomatous polyp in the sigmoid colon causing obstructionA 38-year-old male presented with constipation, pain in the left iliac region and per rectal bleeding, on and off, for two weeks. The colonoscopy was performed which showed a huge pedunculated polyp in the sigmoid colon with a thick stalk, and multi-lobular surface, obstructing the lumen of the colon, as shown in the picture. The polypectomy was performed and the histopathological examination revealed adenomatous polyp.
