Appendiceal Orifice PolypA 42 year-old man with prior appendectomy and family history of colon cancer underwent a screening colonoscopy. A 1 cm wide-stalked polyp was seen arising at the appendiceal orifice (Left panel). It was resected using hot snare polypectomy and 2 hemoclips were applied to prevent post-polypectomy complications (Right panel). The histology revealed a tubular adenoma.
