Dieulafoy lesionAn elderly man presented after a massive hematemesis. He was resusciated and then underwent upper GI endoscopy. We found the stomach to be coated with blood. After some time and copious washing, we found a Dieulafoy lesion in the fundus. This represents an ectatic artery which has eroded through the gastric mucosa. It was treated with a heater probe.
