Esophageal Squamous Cell PapillomaThis lesion was found incidentally in the middle third of the esophagus in a 50-year-old female patient (chronic heavy smoker) presenting with heart burn. Histologically, fingerlike projections of tissue lined by an increased number of squamous cells and a core of connective tissue that contains small blood vessels were seen, findings consistent with Squamous cell papilloma. EMR was done.
