Tracheo-oesophageal fistulaA 84-year-old lady was admitted with history of severe retrosternal chest pain. She had the pain for the last 20 hours, but prior to that she was troubled with dysphagia for 2 months. EGD showed irregular stenosis of lower oesophagus with a pill impacted above it.
Furthermore and more worringly there was a big tracheo-oesophageal fistula. The biopsies showed, as expected, squamous cell carcinoma.
