This is a radiological image with oral contrast in a patient with odynophagia, cough, anorexia and loss of weight. A few seconds after drinking the contrast, he started to cough and have difficulties in breathing.
Some of the contrast communicated with the trachea, as seen in the image.
We had problems inserting a gastroscope because of the obstructing tumor in the upper part of the esophagus.
